PRIVATE PATIENTS

FEES

We are a private practice therefore full payment is required on the day of service.

The fee structure is as follows:

Initial consult:  one area $250.00 (Rebate:$86.15)

Initial consult: two or more areas. $300.00 (Rebate: $86.15)

Subsequent in person or phone consults: $130.00 (Rebate: $43.35)

Once the account is paid in full and providing we hold a valid referral, our team will process a Medicare Claim on your behalf.

Payment Methods: We have EFTPOS facilities in our clinic and accept Visa / MasterCard. We DO NOT accept AMEX/Diners cards.

DVA Gold and White Card (approved conditions) card holders will be billed directly to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Please note Mr Keogh does not accept referrals for: Uninsured patients, Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) claims, children under 12 and second opinions. 

Surgery Fees

Mr Keogh’s surgical fees are charged at the AMA schedule of fees. Mr Keogh has no agreement with any health fund and therefore is not a preferred provider. If you require surgery, your health fund is unlikely to cover the full cost of Mr Keogh’s surgical fees and an out of pocket cost (gap) will apply.

Prior to undergoing surgery, you will be provided with a financial estimate of surgical fees. Operations have differing costs depending upon the type and complexity of the procedure. As such, we are unable to provide you with an estimate of fees until after you have discussed the intended surgery with Mr Keogh. 

Please be advised, providing this estimate of fees may not be possible in emergency situations. 


Cancellation fee

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call the rooms on 08 9489 8784. A cancellation fee of $55 will be charged if less than 24 hours notice is given when cancelling an appointment.
